February Faves !

Hello all of you beautiful people ! Long time no talk? This month is always a crazy one... not only is it my birthday but it's also my momma's birthday !  Sorry I've been MIA ! I have been working a ton then I went on vacation to Orlando for my birthday !  But I'm back now and plan on posting regularly !  It's the perfect time to write about my February favorites.. so let's do this thing !

For starters I have been head over heels in  love with my (fairly) new YSL Le Tient Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation in color Beige 40.  It. Is. Life.  I have never ever received so many compliments on my skin and how glowy I look in my life.  I loveee this stuff, it's so lightweight, but covers so well.  It gives you such a illuminated look.  Now I do take extremely good care of my skin, so my skincare regimen had A LOT to do with how my skin looks (comment if you'd like an updated skincare routine) but this foundation intensifies the radiant look 500 times more, without making you look oily ! Y'all should deff give it a try, head on over to your Sephora and get a sample of it ! *Friendly reminder I do tend to have quite dry skin.. I do  not believe someone with extremely oily skin could wear this unless they set it 58399 times.. okay maybe not that many times, but you get my point* PS The packaging is to dieeee for ! So luxurious <3

I'm usually not a big primer gal.. I do love my Benefit PORE-fessional primer but I think 90% of them are gimics and don't really make a difference.  With that being said I decided I wanted to try the new Dior Glow Maximizer Primer so I got a sample from work.  I am both so happy yet so sad I gave it a try.. So happy because it's truly amazing, and I notice difference when I forget to put it on before my foundation.  It works like magic with my YSL foundation.. they're a power couple fo' sho'.  Radiance to the max ! But I am sad becauussseee.. it's a bit pricey :( *whhhhhhy ?!* But after I run out of my samp I will deff be purchasing it. It's deff worth it in my opinion ! This is not my picture listed below.. I don't own the actual product yet.. still running on my sample ;)

I am not even going to lie.. I have been a Mac Pro Longwear Concealer snob for about a year and a half now. I would try different concealers at work but none lived up to my expectations that I had from my pro longwear concealer (I don't conceal anything on my face but I use it as an under eye brightener) My Mac just gave me such full coverage but didn't feel like it or crease either ! I lovvved this concealer, and I still do but it has officially been bumped down to my number 2 as of this month ! The concealer that stole my heart from the very first swatch is the.... Marc Jacobs Re(Mac)able concealer in shade 1 Awake.  It is the dreamiest concealer I have ever used.. It is sooo creamy, blendable, full coverage, and the tiniest amount goes such a long way !  It gives such a gorgeous radiant, awaken appearance but it isn't too much at the same time. The only down part was it is $32 for this baby.. but I couldn't not get it because of that one negative.. I have never felt this kinda way for a concealer before.. not even Mac, and I was pretty in love with it !  I think everyone should own this for those fancy nights that you just want to feel luxurious all the way around.

When it comes to blushes, I'm pretty difficult because I don't like really bright pinks or reds on me.  I tend to stick with more natural blushes, and when I find one that I really like I stick with it until it's time for me to purchase another one.  This time I saw Sabrina at LoveLaughAndMakeup talk about this Mac blush called Melba in her what's in my makeup bag video.  I had to purchase it immediately because it looked so natural and beautiful on her.. I haven't been so excited for a blush in a long time ! It gives me the perfect amount of color without overdoing it.  I can wear it with any look my little heart desires ! It's such a great staple to have. It isn't a complete matte blush, it does have a tiny amount of shimmer to it, but it isn't a ridiculous amount that looks like chunks of glitter.  It's such a subtle amount, but looks so lovely on the skin.

I have only tried one other setting spray in my life & it was the Urban Decay All Nighter spray.  I loved it but towards the end, I was wondering if it was all in my head or if it really worked.  The reason for that was because if I stayed in doors in would last, but the second I went outside for long periods of time, my makeup would slide right off as usual.  So I had been on a hunt for a good setting spray for a while.  When I went to Kandee Johnson's bridal makeup class in November in Las Vegas, she swore by this stuff ! So of course I trust anything she recommends , so once I got home I purchased it .  I didn't realize it said matte finish until after it came in, and I'm not the biggest fan of matte things, so it's kind of been sitting around on my desk for quite sometime.  This past month since I've been using so many 'dewy' products and not setting them with any kind of powder I figured it would be a nice balance, and I am so glad I tried it out ! It doesn't give me a matte finish at all, but it does however, give me the perfect in between.. still more so to the dewy side but it does tone it down a tad and makes my makeup stay on through anything ! This was such a lifesaver whilst in Florida, being in the hot humid parks for hours out of the day, and my makeup stayed perfect all day ! I am so happy I bought this.. and I will continue to do so.. just 3 sprays and no touch ups needed !

Now.. not so beauty related faves of the month..
I cannnnnot get enough of this movie, I am so obsessed.  My pal Suze introduced me to it at the end of January and ever since then it's all I wanna watch.  I love movies but I'm not one to watch them over and over, but with this one I am glued to the screen the whole time.  It's such a beautiful story and the actors/actresses are phenomenal in it !  I'm usually so anti romance movies, and even tho this is so much more than that, I am obsessed with their love story..It's so perfect.. can't say enough good things about it !  It's now my life mission to have a love like Johnny & June... doubt that'll happen bc they're so perfect for each other but I can die trying, right ?! Ha ha ha !

As for my favorite songs of the month, they're kind of all over the place becuase I listen to everything from country to pop.. literally. everything. in. between.  For the first song I've been loving it's Tegan and Sara's How Come You Don't Want Me... I get so excited when it comes on at work.  It's so fun and I love the sound of it.. very different but in all ways possible ! Here's the link to it.. Go give it a listen !

Another song I can't stop listening to is Vampire Weekend's Diane Young. It gets me pumped on the moment it comes on.  It's now on my bucket list to go see them live.  This song is a get up a dance song.. lovesss it ! Go give it a listen as well ;)

For my last fave song of the month it's from the cutest lil' (big) country boy aka Chris Young.  His whole album really has been a fave since it came out, it has the perfect mixture of slow songs and fun faster songs.  A few of mt faves that I love to get dramatic with are Lonely Eyes, Who I Am With You & Text Me Texas. I could listen to his voice all day, everyday. The Link for his album will be below, you won't regret clicking it!

Thank y'all again for the support and feedback, it makes my day to know my recommendations
help just one of you out, much less a bunch of y'all.  Melts my lil heart.  I hope this month's helped you
out in some way shape or form ! I love you allll ! :) Don't forget to follow me on BLOGSPOT ! XOXOXO

All about the eyes..

Hello you beautiful people ! :) I hope y'all are staying safe and warm in this cold weather ! I am so over it... I'm ready to go back to normality already ! I was debating on what I should write about today so I decided that it would be a good thing to write about some of my favorite eyeshadow palettes since I have been getting a lot of questions lately about what my favorites are ! What're some of your favorites ?! Leave them in a comment below (and if you have trouble commenting please e-mail me or instagram/tweet me and tell me so I can try to fix it !) and tell me all about them ! I'm always in the market for new palettes !  So without further ado lets get started !

The first palette (Ps I will probably use that word 500 times in this post.. sorry 'bout it !) I talked about in my previous post..the Lorac Pro ! I can't say enough how much I love it.  They have so many looks that you can create with all of the mattes and shimmery shadows ! Such a variety... I think everyone should give this palette a go.. promise you won't regret it ! They're so soft and blendable, not chalky or hard to blend, they're very pigmented & work well with other colors from other palettes as well.  They do not budge off my eyes not matter how long of a day I've had.  It's my fave to do a smokey eye with because I know I can pack the product on my waterline & under my bottom lashes and it won't make me look like a raccoon or panda half way through the day. They have such a range of colors too, from soft subtle colors to dark and smokey colors... once again the possibilities are endless ! One last thing.. I'm sorry he looks as if he's been around the wringer.. but it's because he has.. he goes on any and every trip with me whether that be road trips, vacations, or just going to a pals for a night. I don't ever leave him behind.  With all of that being said, he hasn't cracked not once.. he's such a good one I'm tellin' ya ! DEFF WORTH THE MONEY ! :)  I bought mine at Sephora, but sadly the Sephora I work at doesn't carry them anymore.. I believe Ulta has them though !

The Naked Basics is also a really great palette for a quick everyday use, for someone that prefers simple matte colors or even a younger chap starting to experiment in makeup !  It has all of your basic colors for simple looks plus your highlight color.  I use this everyday for a transition shade.. Naked 2 is that perfect shade to for my skin tone for transitioning. Venus is an amazing amazing amazing highlight shade for the inner tear duct and brow bone.  Foxy and Walk of Shame are great colors for all over the eye from top to bottom to "prep" for whatever other colors you're going to be using.  Crave is a great matte black.. sometimes when I want the effect of liner but not so dramatic I'll get a small, dense, smudge brush and press this into the outer half of my lash line.  This little guy also goes with me everywhere.  For only $27 you can't go wrong !  The shadows are super pigmented and blend like butta !  You can purchase this at Sephora !

I haven't had this palette for more than 2 months but I can already tell we're going to be best friends.
These colors look so beautiful on people with paler skin & blue or green eyes.  The colors really
bring out the color in your eyes.  I get compliments on my eyes every time I wear it.  The two shades I
find myself always going for is limit and nooner.  I place limit on my lid, naked 2 as my transition
shade in my crease then in the outer portion of my eye I blend nooner in there to form that sideways "V"
shape that gives your eyes so much definition with minimal work.  Pop some lashes on with that &
girl, you are ready for a night out ! Such a simple and easy smokey eye ! (Let me know if you would like
a tutorial on this look !) It would be perfect for a Valentines night  ! :)  Same as the Naked
Basics palette, these are really pigmented and blendable.  I even use Strange in the center of my lips for a highlight. It gives the appearance of bigger lips when you do this handy dandy trick.
You can't go wrong with this palette ! This one retails for $52 at Sephora ! :)

This palette is a good one ! It's perfect for a starter in makeup or even a freelance makeup artist that's just starting out.  You get a lot of colors at such a good price ! I believe this goes for $27 BH Cosmetics are  constantly having sells on their makeup palettes ! I'm almost positive I bought mine for $12 ! Most of the shadows are really pigmented and blendable.  You have the occasional one that is hard to pack color on or harder to blend out but for the most part these are really great esp for the price you pay !  Can't beat it ! I don't bring this one with me on small trips but I did bring it with my when I went to Las Vegas & LA and I will be bringing it with me when I fly out to Orlando in February for my birthday.  You can do a ton of looks with all of the colors they have in this palette.  I don't use this one on a regular basis but anytime I want to create a fun look, I use this bad boy !  I even used a mix of these colors for my eyebrows when my hair was a vibrant red.  You can get so many uses from this palette ! They have 2 other editions as well that have other colors in it.  You can purchase them on bhcosmetics.com

That's it for my a few of my favorite eyeshadow palettes ! I hope I helped you out in some way.. if you
have any other questions feel free to leave them below ! Or if you want to suggest an
eyeshadow palette you think I would enjoy or want me to review let me know ! :) Thanks for all
of the support, it really means so much ! Y'all are truly the best ! Don't forget to subscribe to

Teeny Weeny Walgreens Haul

Hello beautiful people ! I just wanted to do a super short post on a few things I picked up earlier today from Walgreens.  I *FINAAALLLYYYY* came across the new Maybeline Color Sensational's in the Buffs line.  I wanted to buy all of them.. every. last. one.  But I controlled myself and only got two for now.  I stuck with the lighter nudes.  I purchased the 915 Blushing Beige and the 920 Nude List.  Blushing Beige is a gorgeous light beigy-pink (hence the name blushing Beige ha ha ha) that is very similar to Mac's Myth.  The pink is very very subtle.  The other color I bought was the Nude List.  This is a richer, deeper pink compared to the blushing beige.  I have a feeling these two will always be in my makeup bag.  They are so pretty alone and also layered with each other.  The consistency is super buttery and moisturizing, nothin' wrong with that !  They stay on okay, nothing crazy amazing like Stila's Lip Stains that I swear by, but hey ! for eight bucks you can't beat them ! Also right now at my Walgreens they're buy one get one half off ! Next I just picked up some lip liners by Jordana.  I wanted the dark brown so I could darken up the two nudes I got if need be.  It's called coco loco, and it's a rich dark brown.  The other is Silver Lilac, it's a lighter shade of purple but it's so bright as well.  I love this one ! I am going to wear this with my Mac's Viva Glam Nicki 2 lipstick.  I can't wait for spring to arrive already because I can already tell that'll be a constant lip this year !  Well there ya have it.. nothing great and big but it's a little something :) Y'all should go pick up some of the lipsticks.. try to control yourself though because it could get dangerous haha ! Have a wonderful weekend ! XOXOXOXO

Monthly Favorites !

Hello all of you beautiful people ! How have y'all been ?! Today I'm off *hip hip hooooray* and felt like having a chat with all of you.  I figured I would do a few of my monthly favorites because, well, I haven't done one of these in quite a while ! As I was doing my makeup yesterday I was thinking how much I am in love with pretty much all of my products that I am currently using... so why not share them with everyone ?!  Let's jump right into it because it's kinda sort of a lot.. So go grab a snack & a drink and get comfy. Ha Ha Ha !

First things first.. I'm not sure if I have ever stressed how much of a freak I am about skincare and taking care of your skin.  I've always been the type to never go to sleep with my makeup on no matter how late I get in, but in the past year I've taken it up a notch, or twelve.  I am obsesseeedddd with learning about eye creams, face oils, anti-aging anything, face mask, face scrubs, what's good for your skin, what damages it, etc. etc.  I am trying to prevent wrinkles and signs of aging, yes I know it's going to happen no matter what BUT I can prevent prevent prevent.. and when the time comes, Huntie I will be botox-ing my life up.. so until that day comes I will do whatever I can to help my skin look and feel ahhhmazing.  Also one big up, is that when you take care of your skin from the inside out not only will you look so healthy and have a radiant glow about you, but also it'll make your makeup look, blend, and feel flawlesssss ! I have noticed a HUGE difference in the way my skin feels and looks with and without makeup on.

  • The first thing I do when I'm taking my makeup off at night is my eye makeup. I have tried countless drugstore waterproof eye makeup remover and they're all terrible to say the least.  They sting my eyes out and make me go blind for 5-10 minutes and then they don't even get off my mascara after all of the pain.. totally not worth it.  This eye makeup remover (hey, how many time can I say eye makeup in a minute Ha Ha Ha!) is such a breeze ! It is a nice consistency, not too oily but not too watery, it doesn't make me temporarily blind, AND it does its job.  Winning all across the board.  The second thing I do is take my makeup remover wipes and take off the majority of my face makeup.. I use the Nuetrogena original wipes and love them.. I just forgot to include them in the picture.  They don't make my face red and irritated and they also make my face super soft while taking all of my makeup off.
  • Next I cleanse my face, but honestly I'm not really impressed with my current cleanser which is why it's not pictured.  It does the job but it's nothing great and after I use it up I won't repurchase it.  After my face is dried I spray my *holly grail* Mario Badescu facial spray, this does wonders not to mention it's multi-functional (I may or may have not just made that word up) It is such a good pick me up throughout the day, it refreshes and re-hydrates your skin even when you have makeup on.  At night it helps calm the redness in my skin down a bunch ! I also use it when I'm applying eye shadow if it won't cling to the brush.. spray some of this bad boy on it there ya go ! It's also suppperrrr affordable, it retails for $7 at Ulta !
  • When that dries I put about 5-7 drops of my Josie Maran Argan Oil and press it into my skin.  This is also something that I will never ever be able to go without again.  You can NOT lose with this stuff ! If you're more to the dry side, this will tremendously improve your skins moisture state and give you such a healthy glow.  But if you're oily, it'll also help because oil cuts oil (don't believe me? I dare YOU to oil ;])  I have the travel size and have repurchased it three times thus far.. I need to just break down and get the normal size one.  Give this a go because I promise you that your skin will forever be changed, for the better !
  • This Fresh eye cream is a God sent, no lie.  It is really creamy and dreamy to put all around your eyes.  I am only 20 (about to be 21) years young so I don't have too many lines that need crazy improvement but I did have a few under my eyes and sometimes my concealer would  crease and make me look as if I was 500.. totally not a good look.. for anyone.  This doesn't happen anymore because of this bad boy ! It is a bit pricey but I truly believe that if you should invest in anything it should be skincare, even more so in an eye cream because, hello, eyes are the first signs of aging !
  • This Nude moisturizer is so luxurious feeling ! It really gets into my skin and hydrates from the inside out ! I will deff be re buying him after I run out..and he's anti aging.. what's not to love ?!
  • The last thing I do on a nightly basis is my Peter Thomas Roth Lashes to die for TURBO night serum.  I will also not go without this product, ever.  I have noticed such a big difference in my lashes in the past few weeks.  They were getting so brittle and thin the past year, I think because I have been wearing lashes anytime I go to work or out.  But for the first time in two months I actually wore just mascara and was so happy with the way they looked.  I actually got several compliments on my lashes at work that day which always makes you feel lovely. It's also not too pricey comparing to other brands !
  • The last skincare product I wanna tell y'all about is something I've been really enjoying this past month  and a half, I'm not sure it's a staple or holly grail product yet but it is quite nice for an even nicer price ! I do this about once a week after I use my clarisonic I put this bad boy on and 20 minutes later my pores are squeaky clean !  It's only $23 for a very generous amount.  Okay, so we're done with skincare monthly favorites *thank the Lort*

These next two products blend together beautifully.  The POREfessional gives my skin a smooth slate for my foundation (or CC Cream for those days that I don't feel like getting all dolled up) to come right over and give me that flawless canvas.  The only complaint that I have for the POREfessional is that it is a little drying around my nose area, but besides that it's really great to have.  The next thing is my holy grail foundation.. I  swear by this stuff ! I will forever purchase this.. I have tried experiment with other full coverage foundations but none of them even come close to comparing to what this does for me ! It gives me the most flawless, airbrush, glowy finish. It lasts allllll day, doesn't clog your pores, doesn't come off on your phone or clothes, is full coverage but feels so lightweight, blends beautifully.. need I keep going ?! I apply this will my Beauty Blender.. those two are quite the pair ! Not to mention the packaging is classic.  I want any and everyone to try this foundation because that's how amazing it is ! Also it works for all skin types.. I'm dry even more so now that it's winter time but everyone else I know that I've suckered into buying it has oily skin, and they swear by it as well. I will never try to find something else bc this is the bee's knees !

This palette beats out almost any other palette to me. It's so pigmented and blendable you only need the tiniest amount.. it's literally lasted me ages !  You can deff tell the colors I always use haha.  It has plenty of shades/finishes to chose from.. you can literally create whatever look with this amazing palette.  It's also reasonably priced in my opinion ! I won't let my personal makeup or my makeup kit go without it !

For my last monthly favorite that I'm going to mention.  I have been on the hunt for a nice, subtle, natural highlighter for my cheekbones, nose, and lips.  One of my fellow cast members at Sephora, Renee', showed me this one by Laura Mercier and I had to buy it that day because I immediately fell in love with it ! It's so blendable and has the prettiest finish ! It's not loud like a lot of the other highlighters I had been looking into.. I am so happy she showed me this ! It is so lovely to have when doing my makeup.  I can layer it if I want a more intense look and it won't look cakey or I can put the smallest amount and it's still noticeable.  It gives the nicest glow to anyone's face ! If you're in the market for a highlighter I deff would suggest this one !

Well that's it for my January favorites of the month ! I know it was a lot but I have done a blog post in ages ! Hope y'all enjoyed & helped ya out if you're looking to buy any of the products I mentioned :)  Have a wonderful day, week, month ! You're the best and thanks for the support ! :) XOXOXOXOXO

Rediscovery of Tarte's Foundation

Hello you lovely people ! Sorry this blog post is a little late, I had something come up yesterday and wasn't able to finish it.  But I wanted to tell y'all about this product that I have had for ages but forgot about it & when I was moving into my new makeup/filming/blogging room I found it.  It's the Tarte Amazonian clay 12-Hour full coverage foundation (say that fast 5 times)  When I originally got this product and tried it out I just remembered I hated it.. now I can 't remember why but I just did.  I was feeling adventurous and decided to give this little lad another chance.  A few things this foundation claims is that it is 1) longwear makeup 2) oil free makeup & 3) waterproof makeup.  My version of longwear is 8 hours & so far it's held up to it's claim.  I haven't went swimming with a full face of makeup on recently (or ever) so I can't confirm or deny if this is true or if it's lies.  The only thing that I don't agree with is that it is a full coverage foundation.  The consistency is more like a thicker tinted moisturizer.  Which I am not complaining because I do love me some everyday type of foundations.  It gives me such a pretty finish and takes away all of the imperfections and you guessed it.. my redness ! It's so light that it almost looks as if I'm  not wearing anything.  I would recommend this foundation for a school or work (everyday) type foundation but certainly not a flawless full coverage (special occasion) foundation.  Now for the part that is a deal breaker for many.. the price.  It is listed for $38.  I know that is a little pricey for some people but I will say a little goes a long way.  Also other foundations that I've tried out that says light to medium coverage for an everyday foundation sucked to be honest.  They would come off around my mouth and chin area after a few hours and make a sista look ratchet and as if I forgot to apply makeup to a spot (or 10) on my face aka we can't have that !  I've worn this all day and I've eaten lunch, ran (okay I ran errands, but still it was hot and I may or may not have broken a sweat whilst doing so), and I always have my hands on my face it's a terrible habit I know.. sue me *hair flips* but the good news is, it's still in place ! Hand clap & pat on the back for Tarte !  Overall I really do love this product for a quick and easy foundation so you don't scare your classmates or coworkers when you arrive, or if you prefer the death look then more power to ya, you're braver than I !  I'll put a link for it at the bottom of this post.  What would y'all like to see next ?  My top drugstore foundations or drugstore makeup in general, new makeup room tour, my fave makeup brushes, or an updated review on my Lush products?  Comment below and let me know ! And if it won't let you comment on this blog post please please let me know so I can try to see what's up with it.  Also don't forget to follow me and become a member of my blog ! August Favorites !

Hey you lovely people ! I know I'm behind (eight days to be exact) but better late than never, right ?! Let's jump right in & get started, shall we?
Foundations

My first baby I cannot rave enough about ! I've had it for about 6 months now and I love it just as much (if not more) than when I first discovered it.  Without further ado... Lacome Teint Idole Ulta 24H.  This little baby gives you  flawlessss skin without looking cakey and falling into fine lines/wrinkles. Covers up redness, blemishes, pores, and any other imperfection just vanishes.  I've always tried to love Mac foundations but I just can't bring myself to it.  I was always left with patchy areas and it almost flaked off during the day. This gives you the full coverage without it crumbling to pooh during the day.  It's also transfer free, which means, you can change clothes, talk on the phone, roll around in a mud hole and it won't come off (okay maybe not the last one). So I know you're probably thinking, 'Gee this will probably clog my pores if I can roll around in a mud hole and it still won't come off!' But that's where you're wrong ! It doesn't clog your pores.. I have no idea how it can do so many different things & still work for all skin types but the only thing I can think is that you really do get what you pay for with certain products. This is on the pricey side but all you need is a pump-two pumps and you're set.  It has SPF in it so you don't need sunscreen either.. all in one ;) gotta keep protected from those blasted UV Rays ! Sun spots are not a good look for anyone. I know people that use it and love it that have oily skin, dry skin, normal skin, and everywhere in between ! Please go give it a go ! You won't regret it, promise :)

My second little bad boy has most of
the same qualities as the Lancome does but at a much cheaper price.  Introducing Mr. Revlon Colorstay.  This guy has the same flawless effect as the Lancome.  The only downfall is it rubs off on clothes or your phone easily. (No rolling around in the mud hole with this!)  It says that it has 24 hour staying power & I have never tested that statement out but I do believe it.  When I take my makeup off (I usually wear it for no more than 7 hours)  I have to wash my face a good 3-4 times for it to come off.  If you don't want to spend the money to get the Lancome just yet, then I would suggest this to ya!

Eyes

Mac's paint pot in Painterly is something I use on an everyday basis for when I'm doing anything from a simple eye look to make the eyes look more awake/brighter, to when I'm doing a dramatic smokey eye.  This is the best eyeshadow primer ever ! I have really greasy eyelids (you're jealous I know !) which causes my eye shadows to crease/run throughout the day.  Not with this primer/base ! The eye shadows not only stay put through any kind of weather but also it makes the color pop so much more because it neutralizes your eye lids.  If you have vainy eyelids this will make them all one color.  They do have different shades and this one was the most natural one to my skin color.  The next time you're in need of a base/primer go to Mac and pick this up :)

I'll admit, when it comes to mascara I'm really fussy because eyelashes are my pride and joy.  To me they can make you look more awake, your eyes look bigger, and really complete your face.  And when people have spider legs or clumpy eyelashes I can't deal.  I actually have used my trusty dusty Benefits They're Real mascara religiously until my mom came home with the new(er) Covergirl Clump Crusher by Lashblast.  I actually watched a review on this and the girl was saying how much she hated it so I was prepared for it to suck.  But to my surprise it has now replaced my Benefit mascara and it's a lot cheaper ! The wand it curved which I love and it has a lot of tiny little bristles sticking out of the wand to get every lash.  It gets them alright, and makes them look flawless ! It also come off like a dream.  I think everyone needs this in their makeup kit.  I've had it for a few months and still love it :)

I don't do my makeup everyday but when I will do it I don't always want a dramatic eye.  I also feel that when you don't have anything on my eyes I look naked.  No pun intended but this next product is actually the Naked Basics Urban Decay Palette.  I use this every time I do my makeup, if not for eyeshadow then I'll use it as a highlighter.  It has the perfect colors to make a natural looking eye.  The shadows are so pigmented a little goes a long way.  The highlighter Venus, I can't get enough of it.. it's like angels made it.

   Concealer

I'm sure you're probably tired of me stating the fact that I have redness in my skin, but I do therefore I always tend to buy products to help reduce the redness.  One day I decided to go to Ulta without a list or anything (dangerous, very dangerous) as I was walking around singing in my head 'you can have whatever you like' by T.I. I came across this nifty NYX product.  It is a concealer that's green.  Apparently green cancels out red, so you already know I had to get it and test it out.  I now can't do my makeup without it.  I will re buy it until the end.  I have tried Smashbox's green primer and I felt like it did nothing.. something about this consistency has much better coverage.  It took me a few tries to get used to it because the first time I used it, I went concealer crazy and the green was so much I looked as if I had bruises on my cheeks. Which was exactly the look I was going for ! But after figuring out the right amount to apply, it is now deff a holy grail product ! If you have any redness you'd like to cover up or if you're going for the 'I spent last night with Chris Brown and made him mad' look, then this product is perfect for you !

Bronzer

Naturally I am really pale (paler than frosty the friendly snowman to be exact) but self tanners are also my BFF during the hot months.  With that being said I needed a bronzer that would look good with my pale skin and my darker skin.  I tried a few different ones and they either looked great with pale skin and barely noticeable with darker skin or orange with pale skin and perfect for darker skin.  I finally decided to bite the bullet and pay the price for NARS Laguna Bronzer and boy am I glad I did ! It literally looks perfect with white me and dark me.  It never looks muddy and it's perfect for a contour and bronzer.  It's matte but with a tiny tiny bit of shimmer.  This stuff is amazing and so versatile which comes in handy because I can use it all of the time not just when I'm pale or tan.  If you too are a on again off again self tanner I would suggest this bronzer to you !

Brushes

This past month I've used my Flat Top Kabuki brush (F80) by Sigma.  I got it in my Synthetic Essentials kit, and I use this brush the most out of all of my other brushes.  Since it is synthetic less products gets sucks up into the bristles than in an animal or human hair brush.  With that being said it is also cruelty free.. YAY ! It is so soft and heavenly.. it's like putting your makeup on with butter if that's possible.

The next brush I have used every time I do my makeup this month is my Sephora Pro Flawless airbrush brush (56)  I got this originally for foundation but I wasn't a huge fan of it because it left brush marks in my makeup which is a hustle to deal with.  So it's been sitting in my brush container for months without being touched.  Then one day I decided I wanted to try and use it as my contour brush and I'm glad I did because it is perfect for that ! It can get in the hollows of my cheekbones and my forehead perfectly.  It's soft and all that good stuff too but even if it was like applying bronzer with sandpaper I would still use it because it's that perfect.  It applys it in just the right area without looking like it's too much.

Songs & Apps

This month I have been listening to Ellie Goulding's newest release Halcyon Days.. my favorites from this album has to be How Long... I literally listen to it for HOURS on repeat.. I'm in love with it.  Also her song Burn is a fun, catchy tune.  Luke Bryan's album is just what I had anticipated it would be.. worth the wait ! Play It Again has been on repeat for hours on end as well.  Love his new album.  Let's Get It On (James Arthur version) I can't get enough of it.. his voice is so raspy and so so lovely & he's easy on the eyes.. if you don't know who he is, look him up ! You deff won't regret it ;)

This will come to no surprise to anyone that knows me but I am obsessed with Instagram.  I love love love it.  I have a love hate relationship with Twitter.  I will get on it for a long time then I won't touch it for days. This month has been a lovin' kinda relationship.. been tweetin' my little heart out.

Let's be pals ! Follow me :)

Food & Drinks
Once again anyone that spends a week with me will know that I could eat Canes and Chick Fil A for breakfast lunch and dinner. Unfortunately I have never been one of those people that eats all the junk food in the world and still look like a model (damnit).  So on my cheat meals you can guarantee I'll be at one or the other.  Normal people probably go all out for their cheat meals and go to fancy restaurants and sometimes I do too but on the normal week just get me Canes or Chick Fil A and I'll be your best friend. If y'all don't have a Canes by your house, you need one (or maybe not bc you'll too be there all of the time) & their sweet tea is to die for.. literally the best in town ! I go there some days just to get a sweet tea, 'tis the best ! And their mascot is a yellow lab, how much cuter can you get ?! At Chick Fil A I always get either the chicken nuggets kids meal or the chicken sandwich fully dressed with American cheese & Chick Fil A sauce. They also have a delish breakfast burrito that I'll get if I go there for breakfast ! Talk about yummmmy ! My fave drink of the month is from Starbucks... grande chai latte with lite ice ! It's delish & not too bad for ya either :)  Only thing I hate is nearly $4 for a drink :l

Thanks so much for reading up on my monthly favorites... I tried not to ramble for too long but sometimes I get carried away haha.  I hope that this will help you in deciding what products to get/not get next to try out.  Stay tuned for my next blog post ! Thanks again & love y'all !
